St Melor's
The community of Linkinhorne values their Church and the sanctity of its place in the Parish. The congregation values tradition and formal worship. The Church itself has a wealth of history, this is shown by the paintings on its walls and its architecture. St. Melor's is a place of worship, prayer, and quiet contemplation.
The parish of Linkinhorne
The parish of Linkinhorne is a collection of villages divided by the river Lynher which runs from North to South. The chief villages are Churchtown, Caradon, Henwood, Minions, Rillaton, Rilla Mill and Upton Cross. These are quaint villages with a big community feel. The name Linkinhorne actually means Church site of Kenhoarn. This Parish sits on granite, which forms vast hills and Tors.
