6. About us

The Callington Cluster is a group of five Church of England churches located in the East of Cornwall near the Tamar Valley.  We look to provide a welcoming environment for all those who are interested in exploring the Christian faith - we count ourselves as “exploring God in the company of friends”.
Our five churches span the locations of Callington, South Hill, Linkinhorne, Upton Cross and Stoke Climsland.  Callington is a former market town which has expanded down the years to form a community of some 5,500 people.  Our other locations are fairly rural in nature but with vibrant villages and stunning scenery.  Our churches not only provide landmarks, but our churches as people look to serve the surrounding communities as best we can, contributing to general wellbeing while also being there for others in good times and in bad.  We take on support for things such as Foodbanks, lunch clubs, youth clubs, and have pastoral teams that can help with spiritual and practical needs.  Sometimes we find that people just need to have someone to talk to, and when that’s needed, that’s what we do.  You’ll also find a whole range of activities across our churches, from men’s groups through to activities for youngsters.  For the musically inclined there are the formal and the not so formal choirs, alongside our music groups.
Step into our website and discover what we’re about.  Central to everything we do is our belief in God, and Jesus as our Saviour - we’re not perfect but hope you’ll simply find warmth, understanding and love when you meet us.
