4. I'm new

We would love to see you at any of our services at St Mary’s Callington. You can find our current list of services and service times on our calendar.

Interior of St Mary's Church in CallingtonDo I need to do anything?

You don’t need to join in anything unless you want to.  Our welcome team will give you the books you need for the service when you come in. They’ll also be happy to answer any questions you have.

You can sit anywhere you like and there’s no dress code.

We’re very happy to have children in church, and we understand that sometimes little ones make noise. There’s a children’s area between the kitchen and the St Andrew chapel.

On the first Sunday of the month, our children and young people join us for a Together@Ten service in church. On other Sundays during term time, we have a crèche for ages 0-3 and our Sunday Morning Live! group for ages 4-18, which both meet in Callington Town Hall.

Parking

There’s a public car park in the centre of town near the Co-op, which is a few minutes’ walk from St Mary’s Callington.  There’s also a small amount of on-street parking near the church.

Accessibility

There’s room for buggies and wheelchairs inside St Mary’s Callington.  We have a removable ramp to make access easier via the church’s front entrance, or there’s a level access entrance at the back of the church.  We have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.

We also have a hearing loop.

Hospitality

We serve free tea and coffee before and after our 10.00am service on Sundays.  We’d really like to meet you after the service and introduce you to more of our church family, so please join us!
